Sam’s Club has become one of our regular places to shop, especially for the rotisserie chicken. The Plus membership has been worth the extra cost for us because of the rewards we earn back. What really stands out is the customer service. The staff are always friendly and, instead of simply pointing you in the right direction, they’ll actually walk you over to the item you’re looking for. Really helpful service and a great shopping experience overall.

5 stars for the tire center. Purchased Pirelli tires from Sam’s and they were due for rotation. Scheduling was not as convenient as Costco but able to schedule for next day. Arrived at tire center at appointed time. They were ready for the car. Shipped and less than a half hour later it was done. Super friendly associates. Much much better experIence than at Costco for same thing. Funny thing is that over 27 years ago we stopped going to Sam’s because of a terrible experience with the tire center in Streamwood location. Seems like they have it worked out. Would be completely wonderful if they improved on call to make the appointment (could not understand the agent and had poor connection) or set online scheduling like Costco. Kudos to S Elgin tire center!

I was disappointed with the quality of the produce department during my recent visit to Sam’s Club in Elgin . Several fruits on the shelves were visibly overripe, bruised, and in some cases beginning to rot. It appeared that routine inspections and removal of spoiled produce were not being performed frequently enough. Fresh produce is a basic expectation when shopping for groceries, and seeing rotten fruits mixed with fresh inventory raises concerns about quality control and food safety. Beyond being unappealing to customers, spoiled produce can attract pests and create potential health hazards if not addressed promptly. I hope management takes steps to improve inspection procedures, remove damaged items more quickly, and maintain the high standards customers expect. The store offers good value overall, but the produce department needs better attention to freshness and cleanliness.

Good afternoon! I am a regular customer at your store. Lately, I have been disappointed by the shrinking size of your bread loaves (less dough is being used, yet the price remains exactly the same!). On March 24, 2026, I bought a loaf—and lo and behold—it was larger than usual! I even took a photo to document it (comparing a loaf purchased a few days prior with the one from March 24). I kindly request that you conduct an internal review to ensure that the quality and quantity of dough used align with the price point, as well as with established norms and standards. Additionally, I would suggest ensuring that the rosemary bread is baked more thoroughly; sometimes, it does not seem to be fully cooked.
